Use for broader questions about acoustics, physical properties, the environment and the general perception of "sound" where no better fitting specific tag is available, OR if you want to open the question up a bit to perceptions (of "quality", properties, etc) but with objectiveness intact. e.g. "Why do x active monitors sound different to x passive monitors?", "Is this self-oscillation at 256 Hz unavoidable on the x synth?".
