Aug 18, 2011 at 1:07 comment added Shaun Farley great point to mention. it's a psychoacoustic/short term memory thing. we lock onto the dialogue. depending on how long someone talks before we hear thr room tone, there's a good chance that it will keep most people distracted long enough to forget what the previous tone sounded like.
