About

I am a computational mathematician with an interest in statistical learning, artificial intelligence, and various applications. In the past years, my work has been in the technology sector of the Silicon Valley with various forays into consulting abroad and with quantitative funds on Wall Street.

I have studied several branches of applied mathematics at Berkeley and the University of Chicago—where I had the honor of publishing my masters thesis with Lars Hanson, the 2013 Nobel Laureate in economics and finance. I have also completed the PhD sequence in mathematical optimization at Berkeley. Subsequently, I taught machine learning in the masters program for financial engineering at the Haas School of Business at Berkeley, alongside Professor Laurent El Ghaoui.

Recreationally, I enjoy photography and solving interesting math problems. I use my Medium Blog to catalogue my ruminations on statistics, mathematics, and artificial intelligence.
