I am new here posting wise but have been shadowing this forum for a while. I have a question I hope to get answered by anyone involved in this field. What tips and techniques can you all share on how post mixers mix audio for trailer releases? I always notice how glued and tight the compression is; it is heavily glued and compressed sounding, yet still pleasing. Can you guys breakdown what might be taking place here? I know most re-recording mixers use a lot of fader work but I cannot detect this to be the case in these mixes. Is this heavy multiband with double limiting or what? Thank you.
