My friend likes to sing, he usually records videos and uploads them on instagram but the lights in his room flicker on and off throughout the video, very randomly, it is present even with older videos that date back two years. If it was a problem with lights then he would've got it fixed already, two years is too long.. So I thought, is it possible for this to happen if he uses a pitch correction software for his videos ? Is there any other way to tell if he's correcting pitch ?

  • That's an odd conclusion to jump to, rather than the far simpler explanation that your friends shutter speed isn't synchronised to the lighting circuit's mains frequency properly. Google "video flicker room lights" for a better explanation. – Tetsujin Jan 13 at 9:30

I’m voting to close this question because it is a video issue, not sound design. – Tetsujin Jan 13 at 9:30
