so I have had an innogear preamp for about a year now and it is in great condition but it's causing my recordings to have a thumping noise in it I don't know what to do should I toss it and buy a new one or is it fixable.

  • if you are sure the sound is due preamp, and no warranty, toss it. – Mark Jun 6 '19 at 23:25

"Thumping noise" can be stuff like an air condition. Better make sure that it's really the preamp. If it has a lowcut filter, it might even help using that.
