I am currently using a KingTop 3.5mm headphone-mic jack splitter, but instead of splitting audio in (mic) and audio out (headphone), it's just splitting stereo left and stereo right. As in, the microphone outputs left-ear sound, the other side outputs right-ear sound.

What are some easy solutions i can use?

Sounds like you have a stereo splitter not a mic one. Is it TRS or TRRS? – Timinycricket Dec 7 at 5:01
