Situation:

Program records screen and mic audio and makes and .mov Sample:

Stream #0:0(eng): Video: qtrle (rle  / 0x20656C72), rgb24, 1600x900, 4679 kb/s, 6.01 fps, 333.33 tbr, 1k tbn, 1k tbc
Stream #0:1(eng): Audio: pcm_s16be (twos / 0x736F7774), 44100 Hz, 1 channels, s16, 705 kb/s

These kinds of files will then be transcoded to web-compiant format of h.264 in an .mp4 with AAC audio

Problem:

These files used to be transcoded with ffmpeg, but now we are trying to move to Amazon Elastic Transcoder

Amazon ET settings:

Codec: AAC
Sample Rate: auto
Bit Rate: 320
Channels: auto

The result is a large, as in several seconds per min, delay between audio and video.

Question: What are the most likely causes for audio delay?

I've noticed that the audio br is somewhat high, and 320 kbs is the highest possible in Amazon ET. But the earlier transcoding, with ffmpeg, used 96 kbs.
